Rehearsed only minimally, but studied intensely, Madness Most Discreet utilizes unconventional Original Practice performance techniques to recreate the Bard’s original style. At the top of each show, the audience is given the opportunity to choose which actor will bring each “track,” or grouping of characters, to life, meaning any actor may play any role. This emphasis on the unknown and unrehearsed inspires a fast-paced, spontaneous rendering of the classic love story.
